In honor of International Celiac Awareness Day, the VUMC Celiac Disease Clinic is partnering with other organizations in lighting up the Korean War Memorial Bridge as part of the “Shine a Light on Celiac Disease”, an international effort to raise awareness for those with the disease. To support patients and the greater Celiac community, the VUMC clinic is organizing a community walk and viewing on the adjacent pedestrian bridge just after sundown. Glow sticks will be available to all who attend to further shine a light on the Celiac community.
