The Shade Tree Clinic’s annual Reproductive Health Drive is underway and will continue through May 23.
The drive is a project of students in the Vanderbilt School of Medicine and the Vanderbilt School of Nursing. The Shade Tree Clinic is Vanderbilt’s student-run clinic for underserved populations.
Donations to the drive will go to The Next Door, Homeland Heart, and Metro Office for Family Safety – community organizations in Nashville that support individuals facing intimate partner violence, housing insecurity, and inequality in the birthing process.
Examples of needed items include:

Condoms

Hygiene Products
-
Hair care for textured hair

Travel-sized deodorants, lotions, shampoos

Emergency clothing

Unused women and children’s underwear

Leggings, sweatshirts

Sports bras, socks

Collection boxes for donations are set up in the Eskind Biomedical Library student lounge and the School of Nursing Atrium.
