Vanderbilt University Hospital’s second floor area near Panera, known by many as the “Panera lobby,” will be closed for refurbishment starting Sept. 16. These upgrades will include replacing flooring and light fixtures to make this area more user-friendly for patients, families, and staff. Panera, the restaurant, will remain open during the work.
Details:
- The entrance from the VUH plaza to the lobby will be closed for an estimated 4 to 5 weeks.
- The ATM machines located in this area will be out of service. Those seeking ATMs during this timeframe can use the machines located in the Courtyard Café Cafeteria, D-2100 hallway of Medical Center North, or The Vanderbilt Clinic second floor, near the service elevator.
- Construction will occur during the daytime/evenings.
