On a hot summer day, there’s nothing better than enjoying some ice cream, and at last week’s annual VUMC Chill Out event, where VUMC employees get free ice cream and other frozen treats, smiles were in abundance.
Chill Out was held at all VUMC hospital campuses, and, as these pictures attest, the VUH Plaza was a sea of smiles as a summer day was cooled off with frozen treats.
How many, you ask? According to VUMC Human Resources, which puts on the annual event as part of Employee Celebration, 12,648.
A lot of treats. A lot of smiles.
