In response to necessary budget considerations, VUMC’s annual Flulapalooza event will be reimagined for 2025. Employees can receive their annual flu vaccine, at no cost, through the “Fight the Flu” program provided by the Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) when the flu vaccines become available at VUMC in a few weeks.
As the flu vaccine is still a VUMC compliance requirement, OHC is committed to providing quick and convenient options for you and your colleagues to obtain a flu vaccine through the Occupational Health Clinic, as well as our One Hundred Oaks and Regional Hospital employee health locations. Additionally, we will partner with our nursing colleagues to continue the Peer Vaccination Program for convenient unit- and clinic-based delivery. More details on locations, hours and pop-up events will be shared soon.
