Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of only 10 hospitals in Tennessee to receive a five-star cleanliness rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Hospital rankings are determined by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys, which collect patient feedback through standardized surveys based on the inpatient experience. Hospitals are evaluated on several aspects of care, and this achievement acknowledges VBCH’s commitment to maintaining superior operational practices that support a clean and healthy environment for patient care.
“I believe this recognition is more confirmation of our commitment to the best patient care experience here at Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital. This would not have been possible without the leadership of Syreeta Jordan-Dixon, director of Environmental Services, and her entire team of dedicated individuals,” said Mike DeFoe, MBA-HCM, executive director of Finance for Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital.
