Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) placed highly in several national rankings, including the various rankings conducted by U.S. News and World Report during the past year.

Scott McCarver, Associate Operating Office for Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital and Clinics, has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital.

With approximately 10 million square feet of building space, along with acres of land outside its hospitals, clinics and research facilities, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is an enormous maze of hallways and busy streets that are frequented by millions each year.
