Byrd named president of echocardiography society

Benjamin Byrd III, M.D., professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, has been named president of the 16,000-member American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) for a one-year term following the society’s 24th Annual Scientific Sessions, which were held earlier this month in Minneapolis.

New policies, procedures in place for vendor representatives

Vanderbilt University Medical Center recently partnered with Vendormate Credentialing Services to manage policies and procedures regarding vendor representatives. Among the changes was the implementation of a daily pass system in place of the previous system of annually renewed badges for vendor representatives.
