An upcoming issue of the journal Nature Biotechnology announces the release of ProteoWizard Toolkit 3.0, a free set of cross-platform (PC, Mac, Linux) software libraries and applications designed to facilitate proteomics research. The article is now available on the journal’s website.

Netterville to lead otolaryngology-head, neck surgery group

James Netterville, M.D., professor of Otolaryngology and director of the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Service, has been elected president of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and its foundation for the 2012-13 term. He assumed his position in September during the annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Day set to promote hand hygiene efforts
