On Saturday, Nov. 8, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Pierce Avenue will be closed from Medical Center Drive to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt pedestrian sky bridge due to construction work in the area.

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt’s Holiday Project features one-of-a-kind holiday items designed by children whose lives have been touched by the hospital. All proceeds directly benefit Children’s Hospital patients.

Vanderbilt Children’s After-Hours Clinics have treated 10,000 patients since the first clinic opened its doors on March 25, 2013. Patients and families are able to receive expert pediatric care in their own communities for illness or injuries that occur during the evening or weekend.

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt launched the “Growing to New Heights” fundraising campaign in support of a four-floor building expansion.

As one of the few board-certified pediatric sleep specialists in the region, Atia Jordan works with a multidisciplinary team to address sleep concerns in an effort to improve the overall health and well-being of her patients.

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt recently hosted the Association of Junior Leagues International Fall Leadership Conference, which featured presentations and a tour of the hospital.
