During a July trip to Tel Aviv, Vanderbilt Travel reached out to the Owen School's Kim Killingsworth to see if she was safe.

The new expense reporting system, Concur, will accept most employee reimbursements as of March 11.

More than 6,700 users have set up travel profiles. More than 4,125 trips have been booked, and travelers have received more than $2.6 million in reimbursements, 80 percent within three to five days of their report being approved.

Training is now available for the new Vanderbilt travel system, which will go live July 30.

As of July 29, PCards will no longer be used to support payment of travel expenses such as airfare, hotel rooms or rental cars.

Information sessions on the new travel system begin next week. The two-hour sessions are open to all employees in preparation for the July 30 launch of the new system.
