The convention allows nurses to contribute to and evaluate the frameworks for ethical decision-making, professional accountability and consistent standards of practice under which nurses operate. 

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s CJ Collett and Stacy Bair-Taylor received Medical Assistant of the Year awards for 2024.

The presentation was an opportunity for Keady to introduce herself to the enterprise and express her vision for the future of nursing at VUMC.

Criteria for the award included recruitment materials featuring men in nursing, evidence demonstrating an increase in the number of men in nursing and evidence of male nurse involvement.

She has dedicated her career to transforming care for victims of sexual assault and intimate partner violence.
