The VUSM Class of 2030 includes 82 MD students, 16 Medical Scientist Training Program students and one oral and maxillofacial surgery student.

Miller’s selection as the new senior leader for Vanderbilt Health and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine finalizes an extensive national search by the VH Board of Directors to identify Balser’s successor.  

Vanderbilt Health’s philosophy is that the institution needs a way to support patients when they reveal that food is a struggle. Yet, it’s a hospital system not a food bank, so it looks to partners.

The former Vanderbilt University School of Medicine student and Vanderbilt Health resident spent 15 years on the faculty of the University of Louisville.

Awards were presented during the annual Spring Faculty Assembly on May 29.

As aspiration cases at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt grew, a team of physicians sought to ensure that the most appropriate imaging tools were being used in the evaluation and diagnostic process for suspected aspirations.

Among those participating in the National Resident Matching Program were members of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine graduating class.
