The Susan Morrow Legacy Foundation has made a generous donation to support ovarian cancer research at Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels has awarded more than $2 million in funding to pediatric cancer researchers at Monroe Carell since 2007.

Among the Eskind family’s many contributions were the establishment of the comprehensive Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic and the Annette Schaffer Eskind Chair at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center.

Currently, children in Tennessee must travel out of state, often hours away from home, to receive the intensive rehabilitation care they need, creating significant hardships and burdens on families.

“We are delighted that this endowment will fulfill our parents’ plan for this money to not go for a ‘thing,’ but rather toward people,” Lynne Wolfe said.

The fitness challenge raised funds to support pediatric cancer research, training and care at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Named for Donald Test’s late sons, and Charlotte’s stepsons, the Henry and William Test Endowment Fund will bolster the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences' expansive research portfolio, promising a secure funding source for pathbreaking discoveries in areas such as schizophrenia, coordinated care models, brain imaging and neuromodulation.
