Michael Regier to retire; Douglas Mefford named general counsel and secretary

Michael Regier, JD, general counsel and secretary at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), has announced that he will retire at the end of the academic year. Douglas Mefford, JD, managing counsel in the Office of Legal Affairs, has been appointed to succeed him effective July 1.

Julia Morris to step down from VUMC Legal Affairs role, move to part-time status

Julia Morris, JD, BSN, MSN, managing counsel, Office of Legal Affairs, for Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will be stepping down from her role and moving to part-time status with VUMC in June.

Regier named General Counsel and Secretary for Medical Center

Michael Regier, J.D., has been named to the newly created role of General Counsel and Secretary for Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Regier comes to VUMC from Atlantic Health System where he served as Vice President for Legal Affairs and Chief Legal Officer.
