After an almost two-year break due to the pandemic, VUMC is once again accepting applications for volunteers to help at Vanderbilt University Hospital, The Vanderbilt Clinic and at Vanderbilt Health One Hundred Oaks, said Terrell Smith, RN, senior director for Patient and Family Engagement.
“The area of greatest need right now is for guest ambassadors to assist visitors during the VUH lobby renovation and in the Emergency Department,” she said.
All volunteers are required to be vaccinated, and employees can volunteer on days off or before or after a work shift, Smith said.
