The Department of Radiology and Radiologic Sciences is announcing the launch of new mobile MRI units at Vanderbilt University Hospital and Vanderbilt Health Belle Meade. Described as “game changers,” these new MRI locations will enhance outpatient care by freeing up crucial time on internal scanners for inpatient and Emergency Department patients.
The new MRI units allow the department to provide faster and more convenient imaging services to outpatients, improving their overall experience.
The new MRI units will be available Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:15 a.m. and running for approximately 12 hours each day to optimize access.
