Kristin O’Grady receives $2.4 million for multiple sclerosis imaging studies

The awards will support O’Grady’s application of structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging to better understand symptoms and track MS progression in the lower spinal cord.

The mentorship program — a partnership between VUMC Nursing and Metro Nashville Public Schools — has enabled staff nurses to empower students eyeing nursing and health care professions. Aries Beck wants to be a neurologist.

LifeFlight, Project ADAM lauded by Children’s Emergency Alliance

LifeFlight 8, based in Humboldt, Tennessee, was recognized with the Region 7 Award for its work in responding to a mass casualty in Carroll County in 2023. It is the second time this specific unit has been recognized for its work.
