K. Charles Fletcher, MD, Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, has been named a member of the class of 2027 for Leadership Music, a national program for distinguished music industry professionals.
Fletcher is the Fellowship Co-Director of Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice and the Robert Ossoff Director for Music Engagement. He was the sole medical provider to be named to the 2027 class. Leadership Music brings professionals together for an immersive exploration of the music business, including dialogue about current issues and opportunities shaping the business.
As a specialist in voice disorders at the Vanderbilt Voice Center, Fletcher’s relationships with music industry professionals and his connections with the music business in Nashville have cemented him as a leading thinker and problem solver on issues related to navigating the music industry while treating disorders of the voice.
“I’m honored by the opportunity to connect with more of my peers who see the music industry from the perspective of talent development, entrepreneurship and more,” said Fletcher. “As a physician, I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to put my skills to use by helping heal those who use their voices to create art. It will be a privilege to represent Vanderbilt Health through my participation in this program.”
