He is building an artificial implantable kidney with microchip filters and living kidney cells that will be powered by a patient’s own heart.

Distinguished Vanderbilt complex litigation scholar Richard Nagareda dies

Oct. 11, 2010—Richard Nagareda, the David Daniels Allen Professor of Law and director of the Cecil D. Branstetter Litigation and Dispute Resolution Program at Vanderbilt University Law School, died at his home on Friday, Oct. 8. He was 47. Memorial arrangements are pending.
