VUMC mourns loss of dedicated clinician, teacher Fowler

Vanderbilt’s Michael Fowler, MD, associate professor of Medicine in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, a celebrated Master Clinical Teacher, and co-medical director of the Shade Tree Clinic, died Feb. 20. He was 49.

Shade Tree Trot once again virtual, kicks off March 28

The annual Shade Tree Trot, a vital and long-standing fundraiser for the Shade Tree Clinic, will be held virtually again this year. The weeklong event is open to the public.

Virtual Shade Tree Trot set for April 18

The annual Shade Tree Trot, a vital and longstanding fundraising event for the Shade Tree Clinic, has been canceled due to COVID-19. In place of the 5K race, there will be a Virtual Shade Tree Trot, open to the public.
