Made in the Shade … Tree Clinic. Medical student-run clinic celebrates two decades of transforming lives

The clinic has provided comprehensive medical care and bridged gaps to vital resources to improve the health outcomes for, to date, more than 4,000 uninsured individuals.

Orthopaedic Outreach Day ‘resets the soul’ for patients and volunteers

Thirteen patients received free orthopaedic surgeries, including five sports cases, six hand/upper extremity cases and, for the first time, two foot and ankle surgeries.

The family-friendly event, organized by the American Heart Association and sponsored in part by VUMC, will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at GEODIS Park.

VUMC partners with Metro Nashville Public Schools, Nashville State, and Ascension on Early College programs

These will become the fourth and fifth MNPS zoned high schools with an Early College program embedded in the school in partnership with Nashville State, joining Whites Creek, Glencliff, and Cane Ridge.
