The Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics program (MSACI) is now accepting applications for fall 2017.

The program provides a 36-credit-hour curriculum in 21 months, with a coursework-intensive first year followed by a practicum and a mentored capstone project.

The curriculum emphasizes a deep theoretical and practical understanding of care processes, informatics concepts, information technologies, computer science and the changing social, organizational and economic context in which health care is delivered.

For physicians, the degree program provides didactic and experiential training in alignment with ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) guidelines for clinical informatics fellowships.

MSACI is also designed for clinicians who desire rigorous, practical informatics training outside of the clinical informatics fellowship as well as for experienced professionals from other disciplines that contribute to safe, efficient and effective health care.

The application deadline is April 30. For more information or to apply, please visit the MSACI website.
