Zachary Warren, Ph.D., has been named to receive the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities’ (AAIDD) 2013 Early Career Award.
Warren is associate professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and director of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) and Autism Clinical Services.
Warren’s clinical, research and training interests revolve around improving systems of care for individuals with autism and their families, especially improving early identification and intervention.
In the seven years since Warren completed his doctorate in clinical psychology, he has become a recognized leader in Tennessee and nationally on autism spectrum disorders diagnosis, clinical services, training for families and professionals and research.
The award will be presented at the 137th AAIDD Annual Meeting in June in Pittsburgh.
