The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine (EM) hosted its inaugural VUMC EM Family Day on Feb. 8 in Light Hall, inviting family and friends of EM physicians and administrative staff to experience a day in the life of an emergency physician.

Attendees participated in hands-on activities such as ultrasound, splinting, CPR and intubation. Children had the opportunity to earn their own white coat, making a fun and memorable day for all.
