There are many types of cellular therapy. Vanderbilt-Ingram has one of the nation’s best stem cell transplant centers based upon procedure volume and patient outcomes. The center was the first in Tennessee to offer CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T cell) therapy, which reengineers a patient’s immune cells to recognize and attack cancer.
