Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital has received reaccreditation from the Joint Commission (TJC), an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 22,000 U.S. health care organizations and programs.

Mt. Juliet set for new primary care and walk-in clinics

To celebrate the debut of a new primary care clinic and walk-in clinic in Mt. Juliet, Vanderbilt Health will hold an open house on Friday, Feb. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the clinics’ new location.

VEI’s Lebanon surgery center moving to VWCH

The surgery center adjacent to the Vanderbilt Eye Institute Lebanon has closed and surgical care for VEI patients is moving to the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital Surgery Center.

In 1994, Harold “Scottie” Scott’s HIV-positive status was covered on the local news. He has been an educator ever since.

Now, 25 years after his announcement, Scott’s mission remains the same: to educate others on the history of HIV, dispel myths and break down stigma.
