Build-out begins on final floors of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt expansion

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt continues to grow to new heights. As part of the ongoing four-floor expansion of Monroe Carell, a temporary crane alongside the pediatric facility’s building signifies a move toward the final phases of the project.

Two-month-old Kaimila Lizardo was among the infants who made the move into the new NICU space on the 11th floor of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

New Children’s Hospital space expands NICU care

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt will house one of the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in the country with this week’s opening of its newest inpatient space on the 11th floor.

CMA-supported space debuts at Children’s Hospital

Members of the country music industry came together to celebrate the newly opened 10th floor of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The space was made possible, in part, through significant support from the Country Music Association (CMA).
