Country music superstars Rascal Flatts once again teamed up with Delta Dental of Tennessee and WME to host the Celebrity Golf Classic to benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Oct. 14, at the top-rated Golf Club of Tennessee.

CMA-supported space debuts at Children’s Hospital

Members of the country music industry came together to celebrate the newly opened 10th floor of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The space was made possible, in part, through significant support from the Country Music Association (CMA).

Families recently gathered for the annual Arrington Vineyards Harvest Party. The event, now in its eighth year, again benefited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. New this year, proceeds supported neonatology training and research. The daylong Harvest Party, sponsored by Delta Dental of Tennessee and Pinnacle Bank, featured food, drinks and a concert by country music star and Arrington Vineyards co-owner Kix Brooks. Last weekend, people who are uninsured received free treatments for outpatient upper extremity conditions at Vanderbilt Bone & Joint in Franklin.

Event provided free hand surgeries for uninsured patients

Hand surgeons and other Vanderbilt Health staff offered surgeries to people who are uninsured and need surgical treatment for outpatient upper extremity conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome and ganglion cysts.
