Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients are focus of GLP-1 therapy for obesity study

The study will begin enrolling eligible patients in September. Thirty participants, ages 12 and older, will be randomized to receive either a placebo or the GLP-1 receptor agonist semaglutide.
