Twelve Vanderbilt University faculty members named to endowed chairs were lauded for their extraordinary academic achievements during an Aug. 28 celebration.

The Nashville Predators Foundation recently presented a $131,000 donation to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt as part of the organization’s continued commitment to support cancer research.

Individuals who provide annual philanthropic support for key areas at Vanderbilt University Medical Center were recognized at the Canby Robinson Society Reception on May 21.

After students, families and the community danced the night away for 13.1 hours, the Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon student executive committee unveiled how much money had been raised for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Tom and Vickie Flood recently visited with students at the Mama Lere Hearing School at Vanderbilt. The Floods’ philanthropy supports endowment for faculty, graduate students and research in childhood hearing loss at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center.
