Hemingway receives Pediatric-Adolescent Gynecology designation

Celeste Hemingway, MD, recently received the Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The board designation is fairly new, and Hemingway is the first Vanderbilt physician to achieve the recognition.

Moore named to continuing education hall of fame

Donald Moore Jr., PhD, professor of Medical Education and Administration and director of the Office for Continuing Professional Development at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will be inducted into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame as a member of the IACEH Class of 2018. The induction ceremony will be held Nov. 10 in New Orleans.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center will partner with the Tennessee Department of Health to offer workplace-based education to health professionals across the state via QuizTime, a smartphone application developed at VUMC.
