Adult Hospital CEO Edgeworth to depart VUMC
Mitchell Edgeworth, MBA, Chief Executive Officer of Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital, has accepted a new position as Chief Administrative Officer — South with the TriStar Division of Hospital Corporation of America, and will be leaving Vanderbilt University Medical Center this month. -

At 2 a.m. Sunday, six gunshot patients poured into the Vanderbilt ER. It was the fourth mass shooting seen there in the past 15 months. -

Terhune named to senior GME leadership role
Kyla Terhune, MD, MBA, associate professor Surgery and director of the Surgery Residency Training Program in the Section of Surgical Sciences, has been named Vice President for Educational Affairs for Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education for Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Her appointment is effective July 1.
