Emery Brown, M.D., Ph.D., a noted anesthesiologist, neuroscientist and statistician, will deliver the next Flexner Discovery Lecture on Thursday, Feb. 11.

“Stay with science,” Nobel laureate Peter Agre, M.D., advised dozens of medical and graduate students who attended his lecture at Vanderbilt University Medical Center last week. “It will take you to fascinating places.”

Joshua Denny, M.D., M.S., who helped propel Vanderbilt University Medical Center into a leadership role in the national Precision Medicine Initiative, will deliver the next Flexner Discovery Lecture on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Roderick Little, Ph.D., a statistician with expertise in the analysis of data sets with missing values, will deliver the next Flexner Discovery Lecture on Thursday, Jan. 28.
