Vanderbilt Health staff traveled from around the region for an Employee Welcome Event on Wednesday, Feb. 4, to greet new colleagues at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital, which officially joined the enterprise Feb. 2.

Paris replaces Karen Nanney, CPA, Vice President of Finance for Enterprise-Wide Functions, who will retire later this year after 40 years of steadfast service to Vanderbilt.

This acquisition marks Vanderbilt Health’s fourth regional hospital expansion, further strengthening its presence across Middle Tennessee beyond its already extensive inpatient and ambulatory services in Nashville.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center announces plans to assume complete ownership of Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville hospital from subsidiaries of Community Health Systems Inc. VUMC has held a minority interest in the hospital since 2021.

The move supports care coordination for thousands of patients who receive treatment at both organizations in Middle Tennessee.
